Long iron hull-pin segment, ex-Atocha (1622). 3.9 lb. Roughly 17" long, 1" thick. Hefty long rod with a small bend in the middle, an elongated hole at one end, glossy black all over from professional conservation, its purpose to hold together the timbers of the ship.
